Past Caring plot

Victor (Denholm Elliott), 67, is under pressure to be moved to a retirement home. He has no place to live anymore, as his apartment burned down through his own negligence. Once in the retirement home, the old man begins an affair with the much younger headmistress. This goes well for a while, but it soon becomes apparent that their differences are not only related to age.
