Translator Michael and UN official Robert have been living together for six years. It is therefore very difficult for Michael that Robert has to go to Kenya for his work. On the night before his departure, their friends throw a farewell party for Robert. Michael's ex-boyfriend Nick is also invited. Nick has become very cynical about having AIDS, and after Robert's departure, Michael seeks Nick out to assist him. Then he discovers the real reason for Robert's departure...
