Palace Hotel plot
The chambermaid Emilie (Käthe Gold) works at the Swiss Palace Hotel. When, after a long time, she is allowed to put her son Walter (Otto Zehnder), who has lived with different boarders all along, in the hotel, some joy finally comes into Emilie's life. The joy is short-lived, however, when a series of unfortunate circumstances and misunderstandings first accuse her and then her son of theft.
