Pacific Destiny plot

This film tells the true experience of a British government representative who is sent with his wife to wild, exotic Samoa. Their primary job is to please a finicky bureaucrat who lives there. Unfortunately, the latter is not easily satisfied and the more the representative tries, the worse things turn out. As a result, he is sent to an even smaller island. He is in sackcloth and ashes and feels more and more like a failure. Fortunately, his wife continues to support him.
