"The smaller the town, the bigger the dreams."

Melora desperately wants to be famous. Clancy is her best friend and has problems of her own: the fight between his parents becomes too much for him. Ray and Bobbie are also friends. They would like to buy a car, because according to them there is nothing to do in the city. And then there's Glen: he hates the idea that he's very mature for his age and thinks his friends sometimes don't understand him well.
