Our Hidden Lives plot

The lives of four different people in these post-war years are discussed in more detail. Herbert Brush (Richard Briers) is a retired man who writes poetry, Maggie Joy Blunt (Sarah Parish), a single woman who has a garland of stranded relationships behind her, Mr. Charles (Ian McDiarmuid), a gay antiques dealer who is afraid of being discovered, and Edie Rutherford (Lesley Sharp), a housewife with the necessary prejudices.
