O Barão plot

"Finally the remake of the film banned by the fascist dictatorship"

In O Barão, a school inspector travels to the baron's territory to write a report about an unbelieving teacher. Once there, the reporter is invited to the residence of the local potentate. The baron oracles about women, horses and politics while the mysterious Idalina serves food and drink. The rapporteur becomes irrevocably entangled in the world of the baron.
