Moondram Pirai plot
"The Third Crescent"
A young woman is involved in a car accident and is hospitalized in a comatose condition. When she awakens, she is diagnosed with retrograde amnesia. She does not recognize her parents and has the mental level of a child. While she is being treated, she is kidnapped and sold to a brothel keeper, who henceforth calls her Vijaya. When a teacher from a neighboring village visits the brothel, he comes into contact with the frightened Vijaya. He soon realizes that she is mentally ill. He decides to ransom her and take her home.
