Mères et Filles plot

Three women from three different generations. In the 1950s, Louise suddenly has had enough of her protected domestic life. She leaves and leaves her young children behind in the seaside village where they live. One of these children, Martine, becomes a doctor and has a daughter of her own, Audrey. When this independent lady visits her parents one day, she accidentally finds a notebook that belonged to her grandmother. A diary that can finally explain why her grandmother suddenly left.
