Mercuriales plot
In Mercuriales, the torn landscape of the Parisian suburbs acts as the hallucinatory backdrop against which a disturbed fairy tale about the shadows of former images of the future takes place. In a skyscraper overlooking the Parisian suburb of Bagnolet, a young black night guard reflects on the facilities of his first night at his job. Then there are two girls - one French (Stindel), the other Moldavian (Neborac) - who work as receptionists in the lobby, befriending them as they wander the crumbling housing developments, abandoned highways and industrial wilderness that surround the skyscraper...
