Maynila sa mga Kuko ng Liwanag plot

Julio (Bembol Roco), a poor fisherman from the countryside, comes to Manila to search for his lost love, Ligaya (Hilda Koronel). He works on a construction site and experiences unfair working conditions. He also comes into contact with a group of male prostitutes. Then he finds out that Ligaya has been conscripted by a brothel and tries to free her.
