"The Game of Power and Love"

In 1477, Charles the Bold was killed at the Battle of Nancy. Maria, his only daughter, inherits the most powerful duchy of the 15th century. But as a woman she cannot rule, Mary must marry. At the court of Vienna, Frederick III, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, knows that the immeasurable wealth of Burgundy is the key to power. He demands that his son Maximilian proposes to Maria.
