Louis, Enfant Roi plot
The night of January 5-6, 1649. France has been submerged in fire and blood for more than a year. The royal family is forced to leave the capital. The future king remains scarred by this ignominious retreat. With the civil war on one side and the intrigue that surrounds the court on the other, young Louis grows up and prepares for his life as a monarch. In the shadow of Mazarin, he learns to recognize his enemies and that he will never have real friends. He understands that he must suppress his tears along with his pity and his fears.
