Lina de Lima plot
Lina is a Peruvian maid who works for a wealthy Chilean family in Santiago. She does not have a large circle of acquaintances; she only gets along well with her boss' daughter. It's almost Christmas and Lina is looking forward to her vacation in Lima. Her son Junior, who has grown into a big adolescent, lives there with her ex-husband. She regularly sends money and they keep in touch via Facebook and Skype, but over the years their bond is more and more crumbling. In their video calls, Junior seems more interested in the promised football shirt as a Christmas present than in his mother's visit.
