Les Sacrifiés plot

In 1995 a tight battle pitted the National Liberation Front (FLN) and the Algerian Nationalist Movement against each other. Mahmoud is expelled from Algeria and settles in a slum of Nanterre. He opens a small business there and collects funds for the National Liberation Front, which his compatriots - who mistrust him - are watching. His position obliges him to violence, something he naturally dislikes. Little by little he loses reason and is driven insane.
