Les Chiennes plot
The macho adventurer Eric offers himself as a companion for ladies. He does this because he urgently needs money for his world travels. He is summoned to a castle to accompany the wealthy but avaricious client Viriane. She appreciates his company, but the unsympathetic lady also wishes to test Eric's physical qualities. However, Viriane also turns out to have a sister.
