A WWII movie, I always look at it with a military historical perspective.

Positive: the timeline is technically correct. Even the relocation of the German divisions to HG Mitte is correct in terms of naming. CGI Me-109 look good. I think the knocked-out German tank is a real PzKpfw 38(t), fine, I don't think the sign on it is right.

In terms of Russian equipment not so at home but looked good, is of course more available.

Too bad: The German tanks attacking, a nice attempt for a PzKpfw IV-F2, just a shame they weren't there yet. Me-109s doing bombing raids?... didn't think so. And then be shot out of the sky by heavy flak? seems strong to me.

The film certainly does not reach the level of this Stalingrad (1993) - MovieMeter.nl

I'm curious what happened at the end when Kate and Nina went back...

Didn't they survive?

But how did Kate save Yura?

And who killed them? The cold? Bombardment? The Russians?

Strange ending...
