Le Tournoi plot

France, during the Huguenot Wars in the 16th century. The beautiful Isabelle Ginari is desired by two different men. On the one hand, there is the Catholic Henri de Rogier, whom Isabelle genuinely loves. On the other, the arrogant Protestant François de Baynes has set his sights on Isabelle. The queen decides that the two will fight each other in a tournament, with the winner winning Isabella's hand.
