Le Sergent X plot

After years of searching, Jean has finally found the address of his missing wife Olga and his child. While waiting for her, while the maid goes to fetch her, he sees a portrait of Olga's new husband, named Chardin, in the hallway. Jean flees the apartment and, heartbroken, joins the Foreign Legion. One day, a new captain arrives at the outpost where Jean is stationed. It is Chardin, along with his wife Olga and Jean's son.
