Le Maître de Musique plot

Aging opera singer Joachim Dallayrac retires from the stage and starts teaching at a school in the countryside. He takes two young talents under his wing, Sophie and Jean. Something beautiful blossoms between the three, both musically and personally. Then Sophie and Jean are invited to participate in a singing competition hosted by Prince Scotti. Scotti's protégé must take revenge for the fact that Scotti lost such a match to Dallayrac years ago.
