Le Lit de la Vierge plot
A thirty-year-old child arrives on the back of a donkey in a new city. He says he is the Saviour. He is shivering with cold and wearing a drenched robe. Unaccustomed to people around him, he is quickly gossiped and mocked. He doesn't seem to be able to cope with the grown-ups around him.
