Le Crime d'Amour plot
A young paranoid patient in his twenties pretends to have committed a murder in order to attract the attention of the press and write a book in prison. The police are investigating because he can prove that he knew the victim and his statements make him look guilty. He is (wrongly) accused of the murder. He eventually ends up in an institution.
