Le Bel Été 1914 plot
Count de Sainteville is almost ruined and lives alone in his castle. He tries to preserve the illusion of his past glory, even if he has to sell some of his land to Doctor Moreau, who has built a sanatorium and would like to expand it. It is the summer of 1914. The Count has also rented some of his rooms to wealthy Lyon citizens, Ernest, Blanche and their two daughters. But living with them disappoints him.
