Last Flight Out plot

April 1975: Pilot Dan Hood (Richard Crenna) learns that Saigon is no longer safe for commercial flights. The city could fall into the hands of the Viet Cong at any moment. His flight will be the last to be admitted to Saigon. Panam's manager Al Topping (James Earl Jones) faces the toughest decision of his life. Together with Dan, he will have to decide which of the Americans still present, the Panam personnel and their Vietnamese friends can go with them and who should stay behind.
