La Pivellina plot

When unemployed circus performer Patty is looking for her dog, she finds a 2-year-old child instead. Since it's raining, she takes the child to her caravan, where she finds a note with the message from someone who 'will come and collect the child soon'. We follow Patty, her husband and their 13-year-old neighbor as they adjust to the new addition in their lives and search for the child's real parents.
