La Grande Luce plot

A blacksmith from the provincial hamlet of Montevergine is accused of a murder he did not commit. He has to flee Italy and seeks a safe haven in Argentina. After some time, his innocence is recognized. On his way back to his country, he is suddenly unjustly imprisoned. After ten years, his dream of returning home finally comes true, but something happens again.
