La Belle Vie plot

After 27 months in Algeria as a soldier, Frédéric Simon (Frédéric de Pasquale) is determined to forget that miserable time as soon as possible. The professional photographer plans to enjoy the good life now that he no longer has to serve in the military. Everything runs smoothly at first: he marries Sylvie and is invited by a rich man from Monte Carlo, where they spend their honeymoon. But once back in Paris, circumstances change.
