"When life goes south, go north"
The Dutch couple Maud and Frank are on holiday in Chile for a new start. They have just heard that after eight years of trying, they will definitely not be able to have children. But Maud can't accept it and disappears after a big fight with Frank. She travels alone from the south to the north of Chile and as nature changes and through an encounter along the way Maud also changes and finds herself again.
