Korô no Chi plot
The story is set in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1988, prior to the enactment of the Anti-Organized Crime Act. There is a rumor that detective Shogo Ogami (Kôji Yakusho) has ties to the yakuza. He teams up with Detective Shuichi Hioka (Tôri Matsuzaka) and they search for a missing person, an employee of a financial company. The conflicts between yakuza groups are becoming increasingly serious.
