Kokoda plot
During World War II, the Australians fight a bitter battle against the Japanese soldiers along the Kokoda Line in New Guinea. The Australian soldiers, many of them volunteers, are fighting a great distance from their homeland to protect it from invasion. After a Japanese bombardment, a battalion of Australians becomes isolated behind the frontline and must make their own way back to their own lines.
