Kirschblüten & Dämonen plot
In Kirschblüten - Hanami (2008) we already got to know the couple Trudi and Rudi, a decade later it is the turn of their three children. After the death of Trudi, Yu kept Rudi company until he too passed away and is now looking for the alcoholic Karl in Germany. She hopes to find comfort with him. Karl himself is still getting used to his separation from his wife and daughter. It soon becomes clear that Karl cannot make peace with his family past.
