Jimmy plot

"Once you see the world through Jimmy's eyes, it will never look the same again."

Jimmy Mitchell is a mentally disabled teen who sees things no one else sees. He doesn't always understand what he sees and hears, but he remembers everything with almost perfect precision. For example, he happens to hear two police officers plotting a false ruse to put drug dealer Jake Garner behind bars. Jimmy's father is Jake's lawyer and he asks Jimmy to testify in this crucial trial. Thanks to Jimmy's testimony, the evil Jake is released, with major consequences for Jimmy, his loved ones and the entire community.
