Jessica plot

Jessica is the story of a woman and her fight for justice. The story is set at the end of the 20th century in the inhospitable landscape of the Australian outback. Jessica symbolizes the extraordinary resilience of the human spirit as it faces life's toughest challenges. The Bergman sisters differ from each other like night and day. Jessica is a feisty tomboy who loves to help her father on the farm. Her beautiful sister Meg is raised by mother Hester to be the ideal wife so that she can one day escape poverty through a good marriage. But it soon becomes apparent that the course of life is not so easy to plan.
