Japanese Story plot

Sandy is a geologist. She ends up in an endless desert in Australia, together with a Japanese businessman Hiromitsu. The two are quite different, so it doesn't click between the two. With so much space and so few people around, it turns out they need each other anyway. They adapt, with the consequence that their lives will never be the same again.
