Ikite Iru Magoroku plot
The prominent Onagi family is a farming family that owns a lot of land. However, they do not use part of this farmland, because samurai fought a bloody battle there four centuries ago. When asked to put this land at the disposal of a division of the Japanese army so that they can prepare it for a fight against the Americans, they hesitate. They are forced to make a choice based on their superstition or their pragmatism.
