I didn't get into this movie at all. Distant, cold and after a week I can't remember much about it. I'm aware that a lot of this was a conscious choice, but it didn't grab me. Did not find the choice for black and white and 4:3 immediately justified. In addition, the lead actress lacks the necessary charisma. Other than that, I thought the movie was okay.

I've seen a lot of movies in the past few days. Often with large budgets and complex long stories. And yet they were often only mediocre films. This film proves once again that you need a good story. Then you can keep it simple and still make a fascinating and super beautiful film. Even after revision, that is still the case and he gets another half point from me.
