Hotel Central plot

The film is set during the political unrest of May 19, 1934 in Bulgaria, where a totalitarian regime was established after a coup. In a small provincial town we follow the story of Tinka, a maid in the Hotel Central, exiled because of her alleged 'immoral life'. Forced by the owner to entertain important guests, she becomes involved with a traveling theater company, where a beautiful actress inspires her to look beyond the confines of her limited world.
