Homo Faber plot

"Destiny is the most powerful coincidence of all."

Walter Faber has survived a plane crash and decides to travel by boat from now on. On one of those trips, he meets the lovely Sabeth, with whom he develops a relationship aboard the ship. Together they travel to her home in Greece, but the rational Faber does not know what fate has in store for him.
