Hiuch HaGdi plot

Colonel Moshe Katzman of the Israeli army tries to lure some fugitive PLO activists by hanging the rotting, smelly carcass of a dead donkey in a village square. Israeli doctor Uri Laniado ignores his hostility to the PLO and, out of compassion, removes the carcass. For disobeying orders, the doctor becomes as fugitive as the Palestinian activists. In his flight, he meets the Arab hermit Hilmi, whose adopted son is a member of the PLO.
