Ha-Hesder plot

In an Israeli colony in the West Bank, soldier Menachem, encouraged by Rabbi Meltzer, plans to assemble a military unit composed solely of Orthodox yeshivas. Then, however, he falls in love with Michal, the daughter of the rabbi, who is not happy about this, because he prefers to see Michal marry the learned Pini, who, to make matters worse, is Menachem's best friend.
