General Crack plot
The Duke of Kurland holds a banquet for his officers and is complained of the lack of an heir to the Kurlands. But then a ragged boy enters the room and identifies himself as Christian, the son of the Duke of Kurland and a gypsy princess, who is now dead. Twenty years later, Prince Christian is admired as General Crack, now a fortunate soldier and a strong leader. General Crack is then urged by Leopold II of Austria to offer him his services and asks for a high price in gold and for the hand of the Archduchess Maria Luisa in return. But along the way, General Crack meets feisty gypsy and dancer Fidelia…
