Geluksdal plot

Jorrie Lourens, an engineer, visits the valley where a new dam is being built. There he comes into contact with the inhabitants of Geluksdal. Some of them are happy with the project and the employment opportunities, but others are strongly against the arrival of the dam. Pinkie and her father belong to the latter group, as their house must be evicted.
