Frauenschicksale plot

East Berlin in the 1950s. The seductive West Berlin young man Conny Lohmüller is a real womanizer, but he is really only out to use women for his own gain. In an East Berlin cafe, he meets four young women: a student who is about to die because of her love for Conny, a designer who is pregnant with his child and loses her job, a student who rejects him and Renate, a worker from the middle-class who steals out of love for Conny and gets involved in her brother's death. Their lives will never be the same after meeting Conny.
