Everything in the End plot
Young Paulo is stranded in a small town in Iceland. He knows, like everyone else, that all life on Earth is about to end in a massive catastrophe. Paulo is Portuguese, but doesn't seem too devastated that he can't go home. Instead, he tries to connect with everyone else he meets, from a sweet English immigrant to a terrified young single mother and an innkeeper who seems resigned to the impending cataclysm.
