El Cabezota plot

Spain 1957. Pedro Pinzales, aka 'De Keikop' and his son, Pedrin, 7 years old, live high in the mountains of Asturias. They live by fishing and hunting. Compulsory schooling is introduced, but Pedro doesn't want to hear about it. He is convinced that you can be quite happy without reading and writing. Pedrin is therefore not allowed to go to school. But when he meets Ana, the teacher, he does want to go to school. Should or should go to school? The introduction of compulsory school attendance leads to confrontations between stubbornly holding on to one's own ideas and insights.
