Douar de Femmes plot

Douar de femmes is set in a dangerous time in Algeria. The film tells the story of a small village, which has been attacked many times by terrorists from the surrounding mountains. When the men go to work, the women learn how to use machine guns and go exploring. The traditional superiority and role of the protector of the man is exposed in this film as the women in Douar de Femmes exude a calm and constant stamina, both as a community and individually.
