Die Letzte Reise plot
Retired teacher Katharina Korhn can look back on a richly filled life. What awaits her, however, she would rather not experience: she suffers from a severe form of osteoarthritis and has a chronic lung disease. Now that she is still in control of her own destiny, she wants to arrange with a Swiss euthanasia organization that she can direct her own death when it becomes too much for her. Her daughters Maren and Heike want to avoid that at all costs.
