Daniel is a disgraced cop who lost his job after an outburst of violence. The void in his life, occupied only by caring for his demented father, is only filled when he texts Sara, a woman he met online. When his messages suddenly stop responding, he decides to ignore an upcoming meeting with the local law enforcement and travel to Sara's hometown of Juazeiro to look for her.
