De Passagem plot

Jefferson and Washington are brothers, live in Sao Paulo, and have a mutual friend, Kennedy. They have known each other since childhood. Jefferson enlists in the military and Washington and Kennedy end up on the drug scene and start dealing. Washington dies and his body is missing. Jefferson returns to Sao Paulo to search for his brother's body with Kennedy. During their desperate search, they recall a traumatic event from the past.
