Das Mädchen und der Junge plot
Fourteen-year-old Katrin collides with a boy at the ice rink and injures her leg. The boy's name is Frank, he's a few years older than her and takes care of her after the accident. The chance acquaintance becomes her first great love. The two go to the ice bar and disco together and even spend a weekend together at the Baltic Sea. But they also face problems at home and at school. Although Katrin can count on the support of her understanding parents, Frank is completely upset when his mother leaves the family. He demands that Katrin cancel the school trip to Prague because of him, which she has been looking forward to for a long time. What will Katrin decide?
